I have had a trying day today, thought I would never get these blocks quilted.

 But at last they are finished and uploaded.

Floral Visions Quilt




Block 19 - Quilted

 

I am embarking on making my own rendition of the Floral Visions Quilt.

Here are a couple of the blocks that I have embroidered and quilted so far.
The original colours of the floral vision designs were in pinks and blues and as I am not a pastel person, I made mine using two shades of red.

 At this stage all of the quilted blocks have been cut to a 17" square. I haven't decided if I am going to add sashing or not, if I do I suppose I will need to make the blocks a little smaller. What do you think.?
Anyway that is a long way off yet, still have 13 block to embroider, let alone quilt. I really think this quilt is going to take a lot longer to make than I thought it would.
